May 14, 2002 Effective Immediately
Due to changes in the FBI's Criminal Justice Information System Security Policy,
effective immediately, there is a national prohibition on the release of
Wants and Warrants information. We are currently exploring
methods to offer this search in compliance with the new changes.
In all cases, we may substitute different reports from those ordered
based on what each state can provide us.
You can obtain your own criminal records (records on yourself) from the
FBI under the Freedom of Information Act by calling: 304-625-2000 or 304-625-3878
8AM-4PM EST. You can also try the National Crime Information Center
(NCIC) at: 202-324-3000.
The FBI will tell you that you'll need a fingerprint card (get from your local police dept),
an $18 money order, made out to treasury of the US, include cover letter, name address, phone, email,
and a brief explanation as to why you want it. send to FBI record request, 1000 custer hollow rd,
